Daryl A. McCool
Creative Consultant
As a graphic designer for over nearly a quarter century, Daryl McCool of d.a.m. Cool Graphics has provided professional graphic design services on a full spectrum of projects—on time and on budget. Tired of substitute teaching, Daryl answered an ad in a New Jersey paper for a dark room technician and entry level designer with a family run graphic design studio. After many hours in a dark room making stats, cutting rubylith and specing type she launched her graphic design career. Her experience includes serving as Art Director for Gaiam, in Louisville, CO after which she started d.a.m. Cool Graphics an independent graphic design firm whose focus is sustainable and environmentally conscious companies.
Currently relocated to Louisville, Colorado due to the devastating loss of her home of 25 years in the Marshall Fire on December 30, 2021.
Daryl McCool is life long artist who loves to work with community and creative projects. Daryl has worked closely with her son’s school to create an outdoor classroom and co-founded Positive Playground Initiative. She has spent years in civic engagement, helping to guide the design of local parks and playgrounds and served as Chair of Superior’s Cultural Arts and Public Spaces Committee a new initiative to bring art to the Town of Superior. She is an avid gardener and rabid recycler who grew up in rural Vermont. In her spare time she makes super hero capes and accessories with a 1932 Franklin sewing machine.

Daryl is my go-to person for all things marketing. She’s available for a range of needs, from the quick need-to-know-now questions to creating a total look for my business. As a former graphic designer, I can say that her design sensibility is smart, up-to-date and totally in keeping with stated goals. She is approachable, down-to-earth and humorous in both her style and her personality. Daryl can not only get the job done for you, you’ll enjoy the whole process.
